Track all system activities and maintain a complete history of changes for compliance, security, and troubleshooting purposes.
Overview
Numera automatically records all significant actions performed in the system. Audit logs provide a detailed trail of who did what, when, and where, ensuring accountability and transparency across your organization.
Automatic Logging
Audit logging is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. All logs are retained according to your organization's retention policy.
Viewing Logs
Access the audit log viewer from Administration > Audit Logs. The log viewer displays events in reverse chronological order.
- Timestamp: When the action occurred
- User: Who performed the action
- Action Type: Create, update, delete, login, etc.
- Resource: What was affected (document, record, setting)
- Details: Specific changes made
Filtering & Searching
Use filters to narrow down audit logs to specific events.
- Date Range: Filter by time period
- User: Filter by specific user
- Action Type: Filter by type of action
- Module: Filter by system module
- Text Search: Search within log details
Exporting Logs
Export audit logs for external analysis or compliance reporting.
- CSV Export: For spreadsheet analysis
- PDF Report: For formal documentation
- Scheduled Exports: Automatic periodic exports
Log Integrity
Audit logs are tamper-proof. Once recorded, log entries cannot be modified or deleted by any user, including administrators.
